In Pakse, Laos we stumbled across a cafe by the name of Champady. To our somewhat suprise, the coffee tasted really good. Compared to what we had been drinking, the espresso was balanced and the milk texture inviting.
Somehow or other, after seeing their latte art attempts, we decided to show them some photos of our latte art. Soon after, they invited us to show them how to make the art in our pictures. We had a great time making a few lattes and trying to explain and show the technique.
Soon after we made a proposal to them. We would buy the coffee and the milk and we could all do a big practice session. Our friends readily accepted the invitation. The following pictures are all from our time working with them, pulling espresso and building tasty, beautiful lattes.
